Terms and Conditions

  1. Legal Entity and Scope

These Terms and Conditions are issued by UTCamping OÜ, a company registered in the Estonian Business Register with registry code 16739302, having its registered office at Sakala tn 7-2, 10141, Tallinn, Estonia. These terms apply to all equipment rental contracts concluded between UTCamping OÜ (hereinafter “we”, “us”, or “Utopia Camping”) and the customer.

  1. Payment Processing & Security

All prices displayed on the website include VAT at the applicable rate unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed through authorized third-party gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe). Utopia Camping does not store or have access to your full credit card or bank details. All transactions are protected by Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) in compliance with the Payment Services Regulation (PSR). Your financial data is handled solely by the chosen provider under their own privacy terms.

  1. Right of Withdrawal and Exceptions (Article 16(l))

Pursuant to Article 16(l) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of leisure services if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. As our equipment rentals are tied to specific festival dates, you acknowledge that once a booking is confirmed, you do not have a statutory right of withdrawal.

All cancellations are instead governed by our voluntary Refund Schedule below:

  •  Full Refund: If cancelled more than 14 days before the rental start date.
  • 50% Refund: If cancelled between 7 and 14 days before the rental start date.
  • 20% Refund: If cancelled between 3 and 7 days before the rental start date.
  •  No Refund: If cancelled less than 3 days before the rental start date.

To exercise your contractual right to cancel, please use the “Withdraw from Contract” link in your user dashboard or contact us at customerssupport@utopia-camping.com.

  1. Security Deposit

A security deposit is required for every booking. This deposit will be refunded to your original payment method within 14 calendar days following the return of the equipment, provided it is returned in the condition specified in our Return Policy.

  1. Force Majeure and Event Cancellations

UTCamping OÜ is not liable for the cancellation, rescheduling, or modification of the festival or event for which the equipment was rented. If an event is cancelled due to “Force Majeure” (e.g., extreme weather, government orders, strikes), our standard Refund Schedule (Section 3) applies. We strongly recommend that users obtain personal travel or event insurance to cover such risks.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. However, if you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the laws of your country of residence. Any disputes may be submitted to the competent courts of Estonia or the courts of your place of residence. We also participate in the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, which you can access at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
